In recent months Wednesdays have not normally been one of the days the Kremlin Annex/impeachment protesters are in front of the White House, but with much of the US riveted on Mueller's testimony before Congress, they made a special appearance on July 24. About halfway through the protest, the SS closed Penn Ave-and the Park Police then told them they could not protest in Lafayette Sq either for lack of a different permit.

On the 15th of July, ICE (Trump's racial purity police) were seen "canvassing" the area of Van Dorn and Sanger in Alexandria, VA. They may have captured one person but disappeared no more than an hour after their presence was publicized on social media. Surely they had many more targets, but may have been scared away by potential community response once their presence was publicized.

On the 12th of July, the DC Bike Party's 7th anniversary ride made a special stopover at the Lights for Liberty vigil. Riders dismounted and walked by this vigil, a protest against Donald Trump's border concentration camps and threatened terror raids against migrant communities.

Over the course of the July 4 weekend, several DC area Starbucks outlets were observed with code locks on restroom doors reactivated. They were turned off (but never removed) in the aftermath of the infamous Philadelphia incident where an African-American businessman was arrested after asking to use to toilet. It looks like Starbucks's plan from day 1 was to turn the locks off only long enough for the uproar to die down.

Its not enough that Mr Trump's bone spurs may have stopped one airstrike, the whole mess has to be stopped now. Trump started this by withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal.

Our movements brought down old symbols of racism. Confronted neo-nazi celeberties and pushed them out of the political mainstream.

Two years ago, No Justice No Pride blocked MPD, Lockheed-Martin, and Wells Fargo's contingents in the Capitol Pride parade. While negotiations and promises resulted and the lead contingents of the parade were real community groups this year, much of the core message has been ignored. MPD's "special Liason branch" was given a display position right at the entrance to the 2019 Capitol Pride festival. This is a direct repudiation of NJNP's "no cops at Pride" posture.

On the 6th of June, the Kremlin Annex protests for impeachment of Donald Trump featured an airing of just-released audio of a phone call by Michael Flynn's attorney warning about Manifort's plea deal and possible disclosure of information that could be bad for Trump's case

The Clarendon Cup has been run in Clarendon, VA since 1999. These racers showcase what is really possible on a bicycle, riding 100 laps in the space of two hours at high speed. This is what is known as a "Criterium" as it is a small, tight course. This particular race is seemingly always won by a breakaway that laps the field, and 2019 was no exception.

Amid the news of Trump's deadly racism on the border and the growing chorus of calls for impeachment over obstruction of justice, a new issue has arisen. When Trump visited Japan, someone ensured the US Navy's USS John McCain was kept out of sight as it is named for one of his political enemies.

On the 15th of May, Rev Jesse Jackson made a visit to the still surviving and still beseiged Embassy of Venezuala. Due to his status as a celebrity, he was reportedly able to walk four bags of food right up to the building and they were hoisted up to the windows with ropes.

With PEPCO having cut off electrical service to the Embassy of Venezuala, Venezuala now has the world's first carbon-neutral embassy right here in Washington DC. The Embassy Protection Collective says they have once again made lemonade from lemons.
