Massive "Tax March" demands trump release his tax returns

On the 15th of April, thousands marched past Trump Hotel in DC to demand that Donald Trump release his tax returns, especially before any Congressional consideration of his "tax reform" package that might be designed to benefit him directly. A mock Trump "released" his tax returns in front of the Capitol-shredded.Similar marches took place in cities all over the US.

"Tax March Chicken" at Trump Hotel demands Trump release his tax returns

On the 14th of April, the "Tax March Chicken" appeared at Trump Hotel on the eve of the April 15th Tax March. Both the Tax March Chicken and the April 15th march are demanding that Trump release his tax returns so people can see what he is hiding.

Protest Rally Planned Outside the FCC to Oppose 4G/5G So-Called “Small Cell” Antennas Next to Our Homes

PRESS RELEASE

The Wireless Telecom Industry is hell-bent on installing 4G/5G antennas and infrastructure in the public rights of way in residential communities around the country and is aggressively pushing legislation at the federal, state, and local levels. A coalition of groups is planning a rally on April 20, 2017, to oppose the forced installation of 4G/5G "small cells" in our neighborhoods and to protect the zoning rights of local communities.

Motorist threatening to ram can't stop DC Bike Party

On the 12th of April, the DC Bike Party again took to the streets of DC. Before the ride even got out of Dupont Circle, motorists began honking-and one yuppie in a BMW attempted without success to ram through the cyclists. He was stopped and the ride continued without further interference.

Update:Report of "25 loud drunks" at Spencer's home night after this event chanting "Heil Bannon"

On the 8th of April, Richard Spencer and his neo-Nazi friends tried to exploit the Syrian crisis by holding a so-called "antiwar protest" at the White House. They were confronted by a larger crew of anti-Fascist protesters. As darkness fell, someone threw glitter on Richard Spencer as he began trying to escape with his crew. Then all hell broke loose-and Spencer had to run for it. Part of the anti-Fascist crew had to retreat because of the glitter incident, but other chased Richard Spencer to his taxi, from which he was ejected.

Cops raid activist home with guns drawn

On Monday, April 3, 2017, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) raided a known activist’s house in the Petworth neighborhood. MPD broke down the door with guns drawn even though people were home at the time. According to the search warrant, the raid was in furtherance of “the investigation into the conspiracy to riot” and to search for items associated with the “Black Bloc march on January 20, 2017,” the day of protests against Trump’s inauguration.

Police chemical weapons OK on Jan 20, yet Trump bombs Syria over chemical weapons

On Thursday, April 6, Trump ordered US forces to level the Syrian airbase from which the April 4 chemical attack on Khan Sheikhun was launched. An estimated 50 Tomahawk missiles were used. Trump said it was indisputable that Assad's regime had fired chemical weapons. Also indisputable is that Trump's Jan 20 Inaugural parade would not have reached the White House without wholesale use of chemical weapons by police against anti-Trump protesters.

DC ReInvest calls on DC, residents to divest from pipeline/prison funding Wells Fargo

On the 5th of April, DCReInvest showed up in front of the Wells Fargo at 801 Penn Ave. Speakers urged all in earshot to close personal accounts with the notorious funder of the DAPL pipeline and private prisons. In addition, several speakers noted that the DC government is now legally REQUIRED to move their $2 billion in accounts out of Wells Fargo. This is due to the bank earning a "failing grade" with their ongoing housing discrimination and redlining.
