DontMuteDC holds another huge go-go at 14th and U

On the 7th of May, another #DontMuteDC go-go night took over the streets at 14th and U. This one may have been the largest yet based on videos shot from the air.

@DMVfollowers posted "three thousand people singing Pretty Girls" on Twitter. Further down 14th st the dirt bikers could be seen pulling the usual wheelstands after riding south presumably from the go-go like they did last time around on April 14th.

All of this started with a single upscale "New Washingtonian" resident of the Shay whining to T-Mobile about the go-go music which has played on the outdoor speakers at MetroPCS at 7th and Fl ave NW. His complaint silenced DC's unique go-go music there for only a few days before neighborhood outrage brought it back. The street heat got so hot the managmeent of the Shay(luxury apartments and expensive stores) had to dissasociate themselves from the complaining resident.

Speaking of very expensive apartments and condos, it is an open question how much the residents of the incredibly overpriced Georgetown condos next to the Embassy of Venezuala are enjoying the siege and noisy late-night confrontations complete with bright lights right in front of their digs.
