She had slapped an Israeli soldier after learning that her 15 year old cousin was murdered nearby by another Israeli soldier, also trespassing on Palestinian land. 300 Palestinian minors are being held in Israeli prisons, which has driven a Minnesota congresswoman to present a bill, HR4391, to prohibit US funds which finance Israeli military detention of Palestinian children. US backed Kurdish forces in Syria completed the first stage of negotiations with President Assad which included turning over key cities to the government. Meetings have been held in Damascus to form a roadmap for a decentralized and democratic Syria. Other meetings are ongoing with a summit planned in Turkey with Russia, France, and Germany.        From CUBA- Bolivian President Morales praised Cubans for their solidarity with other peoples around the world. Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega continues to condemn US government interference  in his country.        From RUSSIA-  On his program called Going Underground, Afshin Ratannsi interviewed John Perkins, author of "Confessions Of An Economic Hit Man." They discussed the future of BRICS  nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) who are trying to create a post-imperial world free of US driven neo-liberalism.  Perkins says that BRICS is providing an alternative to the IMF and World Bank, forcing them to soften the deals that they offer third world nations. They talk about current trade wars, the Chinese Silk Road agenda, and increasing militarism.        From JAPAN- Again, extreme heat and abnormal weather patterns are gripping Japan, while record monsoon rains are causing flooding across Myanmar. The Japanese Defense Ministry has finished withdrawing missiles that had been deployed around the country. Iran has seen its currency plunge to a record low in the face of impending sanctions from the US, and Iranian officials have expressed skepticism at Trump's suggestion that he would like to talk to President Rouhani without conditions.             The latest Shortwave Report (August 3) is up at the website http://www.outfarpress.com/shortwave.shtml  in 3 forms- (new) HIGHEST QUALITY (160kb)(33MB), broadcast quality (13MB), and quickdownload or streaming form (6MB) (28:59) Links at page bottom   (If you have access to Audioport there is a highest quality version posted up there {33MB} http://www.audioport.org/index.php?op=producer-info&uid=904&nav=&) PODCAST!!!- feed://www.outfarpress.com/podcast.xml  (160kb Highest Quality) NEW ARTICLE about the Shortwave Report in the Boulder Weekly by Gavin Dahl-http://npaper-wehaa.com/boulder-weekly/2015/03/26/#?article=2478097 links for this week's edition- <  http://www.outfarpress.com/swr180803.mp3  > (33 MB) HIGHEST QUALITY<  http://www.outfarpress.com/swr_08_03_18.mp3   > (13 MB) Broadcast Quality<  http://www.outfarpress.com/swr_08_03_18_24.mp3  > (6 MB) Slow Modem streamingWebsite Page- < http://www.outfarpress.com/shortwave.shtml >       ¡FurthuR!      Dan Roberts "Counterpart to the knee-jerk liberal is the new knee-pad conservative, always groveling before the rich and powerful."--Edward Abbey Dan RobertsShortwave Report- www.outfarpress.comYouthSpeaksOut!- www.youthspeaksout.net
