As Haiti's President attempts to stay in power beyond the end of his term (Trump-style), the US as always is supporting all efforts to keep wages down and multinational garment factories (e.g Hanes Underwear) profitable. On the 29th of March, major protests against plans to replace Haiti's constitution were supported by a solidarity protest at the US Dept of State.

Trump lacked one thing Haiti's President has: a US Embassy in his capitol city!
