One background detail of the NY fracas is this Instagram post by Gavin McInnes (who is banned from Twitter): "On October 12th, 1960, Otoya Yamaguchi assassinated the head of the Japanese Socialist Party using a samurai sword. On October 12th, 2018, me and @thatjaprican will be re-enacting this inspiring moment at the Metropolitan Club." That is the kind of violence now supported by the Proud Boys, now with the explicit support of the Republican Party. This is a game-changer.
