McMillan Park was once DC's water filtration facility and is now a large parcel of green space. There are those who want to build condos with the "affordable" portion starting at $60,000 a year to qualify, plus office towers and some kind of health facility right next to Washington Hospital Center.

This kind of green space is becoming increasingly rare, and the last thing DC needs is more housing and shopping for the rich. A freeze on all construction of all kinds until everyone who needs affordable housing has a roof would be a far better idea!
