Senator who initiated challenge to election results gets protest at his VA house
On Dec 30, Sen. Josh Hawley was the first GOP Senator to announce he would object to certifying Donald Trump's loss to Biden in the 2020 election. Five days later on Jan 4, activists from Shut Down DC showed up in front of his Northern Virginia house for a protest vigil.
Following the time-dishonored pattern set by Tucker Carlson after he got home demos, Hawley responded with lies on Twitter about his family being threatened etc. Video proves and police admit the protest was peaceful.
Hawley's lying and libelous tweet reads "Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel. They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door. Let me be clear: My family & I will not be intimidated by leftwing violence." These words are contradicted by video evidence from the peaceful vigil that actually took place. Not only that, they seem cut and pasted from similar lies told by Tucker Carlson from the first protest at his home back in 2008.
