Video-confronting the convoy in DC over their covid outbreak
Video-DC Indymedia reporter challenges convoy about their covid outbreak and support for Trump (2 min)(note-ends w footage of 3-16 assault by convoy on another biker
On the 25th of March, the so-called "People's Convoy" made a final loop though DC exiting by the 14th st bridge. These same vehicles were spotted earlier on Wisconsin Ave. There were relatively few vehicles in this segment compared to their initial March 6 appearance on the Beltway. A DC Indymedia reporter confronted convoy members about their support for Trump-and about the "bad cough" going around at Hagerstown Speedway.
Convoy members were not permitted to approach the reporter inside 20 feet due to this covid outbreak. Note that a week earlier, another person on a two-wheeler was knocked down and beaten for nothing more than flipping the convoy the "bird." Confident with a bike in stalled traffic though, this time ended differently, with the pro-Antifa reporter challenging the convoy to "have a root beer on me!" That of course refers to the convoy livestreamer whose car was covered with root beer and antifa stickers at the beginning of the week. Had they wanted to, the reporter could have escalated matters by blocking the street as other cyclists have done, with the traffic providing absolute security against any pursuit by foot or truck. This however would have blocked traffic approaching the 14th st Bridge. Soon however it was blocked anyway, by a minor crash of unrelated cars.
One of the convoy participants made some remark about the Proud Boys, who are known to be participants in the convoy and could well be behind the violent March 16th assault on a motorcycle rider.
