Opponents of LNG export at Cove Point protest at Calvert County Courthouse, tour affected sites

On the 6th of June, opponents of the proposed conversion of the old Cove Point LNG import facility to fracked gas export staged a rally in Prince Frederick, MD supporting a lawsuit against the Board of Commissioners over zoning regulations that are being ignored. Afterwards Cove Point residents led a tour of sites that would be harmed by the proposal.

On the 31st of May, FERC held their one and only hearing in Lusby, Calvert County for local residents who will be affected by Dominion Energy's proposal to convert the old Cove Point LNG import plant to a fracked gas export facility. The hearing was carefuly stage-managed to make each opponent of the project think they were alone in one of the most corrupt processes I have ever seen.

Civil disobediance at NSA against armed drones nets 3 arrests

On the 3ed of May, about 20 antiwar activists showed up at the NSA's Ft Meade headquarters. Three were arrested after carying out a civil disobediance street blockade.

Vegan Outreach protest at Cole Bros circus draws harassment

On the 26th of April, activists from Vegan Outreach showed up at the Cole Brothers Circus showing at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds.
