Raul Castro addressed the commemoration, speaking about the ongoing interference of the US across Latin America, including coups and rigging elections in Honduras, Paraguay, and Brazil. He also criticized US threats and sanctions against the governments of Venezuela and Nicaragua.        From RUSSIA- Former MP George Galloway and his wife Gayatri discussed 2018 with commentator Charles Shoebridge. They began with the shifting relationship between the Koreas and how Trump may have inadvertently brought them together. However the increasing tension with China is a more dangerous threat to the world. They say that the predominance of the military industrial complex is ensured by the influence of think tanks and media groups that promote the notion of outside threats, namely China and Russia.        From JAPAN- In his first Pentagon meeting, new acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan affirmed that China will remain the US military's top priority. The Chinese President has reiterated that he intends to bring about the reunification of China and Taiwan. Trump says he received a letter from the North Korean president and will be setting up a meeting with him soon.
