Women's March marches on Mitch McConnell's house after SCOTUS protest for impeachment of Kavanaugh

The 6th of October marked the first anniversary of rapist Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court. With an abortion case headed to the court, Women's March and sexual assault survivors showed up for a "Reclaim the Court" protest at the Supreme Court.

After the speakers protesters blockaded the street in front of the Supreme Court. When cops declined to arrest them, they marched on the home of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Mitch McConnell has been blocking most progressive legislation passed by the House, basically sitting on it and preventing a vote. In the case of impeachment articles passed by the House (against Trump, Kavanaugh, or both) he cannot block the compulsory vote but is still expected to try and sabotage removal of these two unfit men, whatever it takes.

With Trump facing the almost certain passage of Articles of Impeachment in the House, Women's March and Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley of "the squad" in the House of Representatives are upping the ante, demanding that Kavanaugh too must be impeached. Congresswoman Pressley spoke at the rally, saying rape culture "ends with us." Also present at the rally was Julie Swetnick, one of the courageous women who came forward to call out Brett Kavanaugh for assaulting her. Several of the speakers in front of the Supreme Court (before the blockade and march) emphasized that the FBI's investigation of Brett Kavanaugh's history was sabotaged and cut off to ensure his confirmation. Well, seating a sexual predator on any court cannot "un-rape" anyone, and Women's March and survivors have not forgotten. Kavanaugh cannot be allowed to remain on the Supreme Court, he is as protesters said "Unfit to Sit."
