On the 3ed of March, students and youth backed by other climate activists gathered in Rockville to protest Mongomery County's watered-down draft "climate action plan." The plan posits an 83% not 100% reduction in greenhouse gas emission-and not until 2035, well after climate chaos has become irreversible

Protesters denounced the draft plan as "vague, unactionable, has few details and no timeline, and stops at an 83% emissions reduction, not even following through on its stated goal."
