The violent threats that forced DC's Trans Day of Vengeance to cancel
On the 3ed of April, John Brown Gun Club DMV released detailed evidence on Twitter of the violent threats by Adam Michael Murray to shoot up the Transgender Day of Vengeance, threats that forced the events's cancellation.
Many details at: https://twitter.com/JBGC_DMV/status/1643055988130340864
Especially ugly and the core of the threat is his Instagram video as reposted here: https://twitter.com/JBGC_DMV/status/1643056006870491137
In that video Adam first shows the flier for the Trans Day of Vengeance, then a video game scene of first person shooter characters shooting up a crowded shopping mall. Adam Michael Murray was arrested in Baltimore, 17 hours from his home. He said "be there in about 20 hours. Protect your kids." This combined with gun range photos with "troubling" hashtags and a blizzard of hate from the rest of the far-right led to the conclusion that to hold the event as planned risked exposing participants to the risk of being murdered by a mass shooter. Thus the event was cancelled, as saving trans lives was the objective.
