Video emerges of SUV ramming protesters in LA

On the 29th of December, video emerged on Youtube of an SUV driver in LA ramming his truck through a street blockade set by Ferguson/police brutality protesters. One protester was left seriously injured.

The video was shot vertically with a cellphone, but the situation put a premium on response time instead of trying to realign the camera. A widescreen video of the SUV speeding away could have been the result of trying to take time to "do it right," as the videographer was not shooting when he noticed the SUV driver setting up the attack.
