US Chair of Syrian Democratic Council condemns Trump's greenlight for Turkish invasion at WH rally

On the 8th of October, Kurdish protesters and antifascists gathered at the White House to condemn Trump's apparent green light to Turkish fascist Erdogen's plans to invade Northern Syria. The US Chair of Syrian Democratic Council spoke at the rally, warning that the Syrian Democratic Forces, YPG, and YPFJ are holding 70,000 ISIS detainees. An invasion from Turkey could force their release or Erdogen might liberate them outright.

Anniversary of Kashoggi's dismemberment murder earns day of protest at Saudi Embassy

The 2nd of October was the anniversary of the brutal murder and dismemberment of Saudi/Washington Post journalist Jamal Kashoggi in a Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. Once in daytime and a second time after dark, protesters showed up at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia demanding that Crown Prince Mohommad Bin Salman be held responsible for this crime. Trump has done nothing to condemn this crime, no doubt wishing he too could butcher unfriendly journalists.

Yemeni rebel drone strike knocks out half of Saudi oil production

In Yemen, the Houthi rebels are fighting to liberate their country from Saudi influence. Saudi Arabia has killed over 100,000 people in Yemen, until Sep 14 with impunity. On Sep 14, Houthi rebels replicated a favorite US tactic, using drones to bomb two facilities including the single most important oil processing facility in all Saudi Arabia. Over half of Saudi oil production was knocked out. Saudi officials say the extent of the damage will determine how long that oil if offline, and whether or not they can cover the global shortfall with reserves.
