Canadian Embassy gets anti-Coastal Gaslink posters as Wet'suwet'en evict pipeline drill crews

On the morning of Dec 19, Wet'suwet'en land defenders evicted a Coastal Gaslink drill site for trespassing on unceded Wet'suwet'en territory. On Monday, the 20th of December, pro-Wet'suwet'en, anti-pipeline stickers were densely posted in the area of the Canadian Embassy. Warriors allied with the Wet'suwet'en have a very long reach and arm, able to reach so-called "Canada's" assets anywhere on the continent.

The Wet'suwet'en never surrendered to the US or to Canada, and never signed any treaty giving up any of their land. Therefore, this not for the first time eviction of pipeline workers from what is once again Coyote Camp is a legally valid exercise of the Wet'suwet'en Hereditary Chiefs' 2020 Eviction Notice. Thus it is legally no different than evicting Trump from Trump Hotel if he stopped paying his lease-or more accurately, evicting him if he had never had a lease there to begin with and occupied the building by force only.

Despite settled international and tribal law, one month ago, RCMP goons armed with military rifles, sniper rifles, and dogs attacked Wet'suwet'en territory in an attempt to ram the pipeline through. The raid was able to steal but not to hold territory, short of a massive permanent garrison. Now the Wet'suwet'en have retaken this territory (which they have NEVER yielded, surrendered, or ceded) in an effective couter-raid.

Here in DC, the Wet'suwet'en have many friends and allies. Also here in DC, the investors in and promoters of the Coastal Gaslink have many valuble assets, some of them known now to pro-Indigenous and pro-Earth activists. All will eventually be known and subject to protest and direct action. As it was with Huntingdon Life Sciences, so it is with the Coastal Gaslink, Line 3, Line 5, the Mountain Valley Pipeline, and all the other Black Snakes who are strangling our access to safe water.
