On June 24, 2022, the US Supreme Court greenlit abortion bans the GOP had been chomping at the bit for since the Roe v Wade decision Dobbs overturned. Chaos in front of the Court erupted instantly. One year later, events were held coast to coast condemning this dangerous rollback of human rights.

Since Dobbs, underground abortion pill and transportation networks have been set up, and the GOP is whining that these networks have castrated abortion bans in many states. None the less, many are unaware these networks exist or simply lack sufficient resources to turn to the Underground, and both involuntary birthrates and suicide rates have spiked.

We’ve cut one ball off of abortion bans, time to go back and get the other one! Ballot initiatives to protect abortion rights have been passing even in GOP states, and passing them in strategic states like FL will destroy the effectiveness of bans in neighboring states for hundreds of miles.

If the GOP retakes the White House and holds the House, DC will become a likely target for attempts to override Home Rule and impose a DC wide abortion ban. This is most likely if a nationwide Federal ban is defeated. The GOP is infamous for trying to use DC the way a vivisector uses a puppy.
