NPI exiled to barn, shut down early after losing Ronald Reagan building

On Nov 19, 2016, Richard Spencer's "National Policy Institue" (NPI) met in the Ronald Reagan building in DC, throwing Nazi salutes while maybe 1,000 protesters beseiged the building. One year later, on Nov 19, 2017 they had to meet in a barn after the Ronald Reagan building dumped them, and it appears far fewer attended. Recent bounced checks by Richard Spencer probably made hotels unavailable.

Update Nov 20,2017:The barn that hosted NPI has been identified as Rocklands Farm in Poolesville, MD. It appears to be a rustic host site for weddings etc and was rented under false pretences. NPI was ordered to leave as soon as the owners realized they had Nazis on their property

NPI has been reduced to a few Nazis meeting in a barn.

Cops demand ID for residents to enter own block in W Baltimore

As of the 19th of November, Baltimore Police are holding the 500 block of Shroeder (at Edmondson & Schroeder) under armed occupation, with at least 9 police cars on site and residents of the block required to show ID proving an address on the block to enter. Residents without ID presumably can leave but cannot return to their own homes.

Update Nov 22:The "crime scene" is no longer active. Turns out Detective Suiter was killed with his own gun, in a no-cameras area, one day before he was to testify before a grand jury against a squad of indicted cops.

"Tax Prom" with Mike Pence draws Tax March Chicken, protesters

The evening of Nov 16 featured a pro-GOP tax plan "Tax Prom" staring theocratic VP Mike Pence, $2,500 VIP tickets-and some uninvited guests making plenty of noise outside. The Tax March Chicken and Corruption Cleanup were in attendance, the former a reference to the refusal of Donald Trump to release his tax returns while peddling a tax "reform" bill to jack up middle class taxes and cut taxes on the rich.

Odd police behavior at Democrat/Indivisble/Not One Penny protest against Trump tax bill

On November 15, the Senate planned to vote on Trump's tax "reform" bill that would raise taxes on the middle class and cut them for the rich. No vote by 6:30PM that day, and at noon protesters were outside the Capitol East Front. Several Democratic members of Congress spoke, so a hefty Capitol Police presence was no surprise but their behavior was another matter. As soon as a known antifa journalist set up a camera on a tripod, police fanned out to surround the crowd.
