Anti-Trans bigots at GW draws larger counterprotest, Hate Bus stays other side of town

Update 4-4-2017:NOM published photo of hate bus at US Capitol, this was apparently as close to GW as they dared to approach. Not sure when photo taken either.

On the 3rd of April, NOM's so-called "Free Speech Bus" also known as the "hate bus" for anti-Trangender images on its sides was due to appear in DC. A few anti-Transgender bigots showed up at George Washington University and attracted a student counterprotest leavened with counterinaugural veterans. They left after about an hour, with nobody having found the "Hate Bus," and were from an apparently unrelated group. There was no mention on NOM's twitter feed of even arriving in DC.

Philly Trump/MAGA rally containing known fascists shut down, march pursued

On the 25th of march, a MAGA(pro-Trump) march and rally drew a tiny turnout including known neo-Nazis. It was quickly confronted by masked-up antifascist activists who police allege set off smoke bombs. The outnumbered and outmatched Trumpers and fascists reportedly cancelled their rally "in fear of violence" and attempted to salvage their day with a march. A "blue lives matter" racist, pro-police website reported the rally cancelled, twitter reports show opposing marchers in the streets, ending with "MAGA march attempting to re-form.

March on Trump's Congressional address ends with pot and pan banging protest

On the 28th of February, two different protests were staged against Trump's address to a joint session of Congress. The first was the Resistance Address in Lafeyette Park near the White House, where speakers condemned Trump's persecution of immigrants and the wave of hate he has created. When it finished, participants marched to Upper Senate Park, where United We Dream had a Cacerolazos going, a traditional Latin American pot and pan banging protest. Both the banging of pots and pans and the blowing of Vuvuzela horns could also be heard throughout the march.

Russian flags with Trump's name on them given out-and waved-at CPAC

On the 24th of February, "left-wing operatives" were expelled from CPAC after sucessfully infiltrating this notorious right-wing convention and distributing Russian flags emblazoned with Trump's name. Unaware of the nature or source of the flags, many at the Conservative Political Action Committee or CPAC accepted the flags and began waving them before staffers managed to round them up.
