Anti-racist protesters disrupt "Southern Heritage Rally," destroy Confederate flags

The Capitol Police attempted to protect them from a much larger group of anti-racist protesters but were outflanked by a street march. Protesters circled the area, got around the cops, and got between the Confederate flag wavers and their cars and Metro. This set up a "Capture the Flag" match in which several Confederate flags were captured and destroyed. The racists had to run a gauntlet of protesters to escape.

Armed bikers protesting existance of Phoenix mosque outnumbered by counterprotest

On the 30th of May, armed motorcycle gang members staged an anti-Islamic rally outside a mosque in Phoenix, Arizona. They showed up with semiautomatic rifles and full military gear to draw offensive cartoons while police kept them apart from a larger group of counterprotesters. Many have remarked that the National Guard would probably have opened fire if African-American protesters against police brutality in Baltimore had shown up carrying similar weapons.
