On the 14th of June, migrant rights activists gathered for the "Families Belong Together" protest against the Trump/Sessions policy of separating families at the border, where screaming children are dragged away from their parents. DHS has admitted the sole purpose of this intentional torture of children is to deter others from crossing the border. Many of the protesters invoked Nazi Germany and called Trump's policy "evil."

Dear Radio Friend,     This week's show features stories from Spanish National Radio, NHK World Radio Japan, and Sputnik Radio.        From SPAIN- Alison Hughes begins with a report on the ousting of Spanish PM Rajoy by a vote of no confidence in the parliament. 29 members of Rajoy's Popular Party were convicted of crimes including embezzlement, money laundering and bribes. Pedro Sanchez, a Socialist, became the new head of state through a coalition including Catalan separatists.

On the 25th of April, the US Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Trump's Muslim Ban case as protesters gathered outside. A Japanese-American speaker warned of the ugly precent set by the 1944 Supreme Court Korematsu_v._United_States case. In that case, the Supreme Court upheld the wholesale mass incarceration of Japanese-Americans during WWII. If the Supreme court overturns the Muslim Ban, Trump will suffer s serious strategic defeat, the loss of a core campaign promise.

Another 1400 people were injured by Israeli troops while a fence separated them. This year is the 70th anniversary of Nakba, "Day of the Catastrophe," the day commemorating the Israeli seizure of Palestinian towns and villages.
