On the 9th of March, Code Pink tried to visit Chelsea Manning at the Alexandria, VA "Adult Detention Center" at 2001 Mill Road near the Eisenhower Ave Metro station. Guards claimed she could not have ANY visitors until she was "fully processed in" up to 72 hours later. There is a good chance this is a lie, as it was not the policy at the nearby Arlington County Jail in Feb 2017.

On the 12th of Feb, migrants holding Temporary Protected Status backed by a massive crowd of supporters marched from the White House to Capitol Hill to demand legal permanent residency. The march stopped at Trump Hotel, where a mock wall banner emblazoned "No Borders on Stolen Land" was set up, then torn to pieces in symbolic demolition of Trump's wall.
On Jan 24, an unknown person walked into Comet Pizza while it was open and people were inside, squirted a flammable liquid onto the back curtains and set the curtain on fire. A fast-reacting person with a fire extinguisher got the fire out before it could spread, saving the building and possibly many lives. As of this writing the arsonist is still at large.

On the 19th of January, the Women's March totally overflowed their Freedom Plaza rally site, filling that area plus a short march route past Trump Hotel and around a few blocks almost continuously. The counterprotesting "march for all women" was a tiny failure by comparison. Several women in Handmaid's Tale uniforms made them look like fools.

On Jan 16, the ongoing #KremlinAnnex protest for impeaching Trump called for shutting Trump down instead of the government in loud chants and music during what might be Trump's dinnertime.

On the 3ed of January, the GOP formally lost the House to Nancy Pelosi, with former speaker Paul Ryan "slinking away on his belly" as jubilant "Kremlin Annex" protesters put it at the nightly Impeachment rally. Shortly before that rally began, Code Pink held a welcoming at BusBoys and Poets for some of the most progressive members of the House in front of a capacity crowd.

On the 19th of December, Donald Trump announced the last 2,000 US troops would be withdrawn from Kurdish areas in what is now Syria, possibly to them out of the way of a Turkish bombing campaign and invasion of Rojava. In response, YPG and YPJ supporters gathered in front of the White House demanding that the US troops stay put and Turkey halt their attacks.

On the 27th of November, a Senate committee pushed through a vote on Bernard McNamee’s nomination to the Federal Energy Regulatory Committee (FERC), ignoring minority party opposition from Democrats. Beyond Extreme Energy (BXE) disrupted the vote, and BXE member Ted Glick was arrested after standing up and shouting "“ Bernard is a fossil fuel extremist. Bernard McNamee! Remember California!
