Zero Hour climate march proceeds in heavy rain, demands action on climate change
Video of Zero Hour march on the move
The heavy rains of July 21 were unable to stop DC's Zero Hour Climate March, one of many such marches around the world. The Zero Hour marches were organized by young people, and at least the DC march featured a significant presence of Indigenous activists including veterans of the DAPL fightback at Standing Rock.
The march began on the Mall at 7th st, and instead of the usual White House/Capitol/Trump hotel routing or marches went past the US Capitol to Lincoln Park at 11th and East Capitol st NE/SE.
