That's Amore restaurant gets protest/dance party for hosting anti-trans dinner event

On the 19th of October, That's Amore restaurant in Rockville hosted an anti-trans hate dinner. Outside, protesters held a dance party featuring music, trans flags, and rainbow flags. The over 60 protesters apparently outnumbered the attendees at the hate event inside

Declare Emergency and Indigenous activists blockade Capitol Beltway

On Indigenous People's Day, the 10th of October, Declare Emergency and fifteen Indigenous activists from Minnesota sat down on the Capitol Beltway in almost the same place protesters had blocked it on July 4. The road was blocked nearly an hour. Again many were arrested.

Oct 5 Kavanaugh Roberts Home Demos trouble free/no harassment

Whoever commanded the Montgomery County police presence at last week's Kavanaugh protest seems to have been replaced after all the videotaped harassment and threats. This time around, the Oct 5 Kavauagh and Roberts residential protests went smoothly, with no harassment or problems of any kind.

MD: Judge Koch sentences "Colesville 13" Beltway blockaders to 4 days jail

On Sep 30th in a Rockville, MD courtroom, Judge Koch ignored recommendations for prosecutors and sentenced 13 Declare Emergency activists to 4 days in jail for blockading the Capitol Beltway on July 4. That's right-the judge gave them jail time prosecutors were NOT asking for, on his own initiative.

Mont County cops bluster threats at Kavanaugh home demo participants

On the 28th of September, protesters returned to the homes of Supreme Court "Justices" Kavanaugh and Roberts. At Kavanaughs, one cop hissed threats for clicking drumsticks, another got on the PA and read out a "warning" implying use of "amplified sound" which drums are not by anyone could lead to arrests of everyone. Protesters kept the action going.

Roberts, Kavanaugh get home demos in still-running campaign

The so-called "Justices" of the Supreme Court are still getting protests at their homes over the death of Roe V Wade on the altar of right-wing Fundamentalist Christianity. On the 21st of September, protesters returned to the homes of "Justices" Brett Kavanaugh (AKA Rapey Brett) and John Roberts.

Racist MoCo cop harasses Black woman at Kavanaugh home demo

On the 31st of August, a Montgomery County cop harassed a Black woman-and ONLY at a Black woman-for momentarily standing still in front of Kavanaugh's house during the protest there. He threatened a no-warning arrest if she again stood still. Another (white or white-passing) protester repeated this "offense" and got no reaction from the same cop or any of the others

Loud noises banned, protesters blow bubbles at Kavanaugh, Roberts home demos

On the 24th of August, protesters returning to the weekly Kavanaugh and Roberts home demos brought a twist: children's bubble guns. With police having threatened arrest for the drums and bullhorns normally used, protesters brought out something else to show how ridiculous these rules are.
