On the 3rd of March, Code Pink got into the Longworth House Office Building as Israeli Prime Minister Nehtanyahu gave his speech. Both Code Pink and AIPAC director Cohen then attempted to enter speaker Boehner's office but that one was locked. Code Pink then chased AIPAC's director Robert Cohen through the halls before storming Representative Stivers' office after him. After being driven from the office by cops they managed to boo the speech at a "watch party" surrounded by unhappy AIPAC members.

On the 2nd of March, AIPAC delegates attending a fancy dinner at the Washington Convention Center were the subject of a second day in a row of confrontation. While they ate a noisy protest took place outside, and when they emerged they had to run the gauntlet of protesters. Members of Congress emerging from the AIPAC bribefest were singled out by name to be "named and shamed."The AIPAC event charged attendees other than members of Congress $600 to attend, with a $400 "special" offered as of the second day.

On the 24th of February, US President Obama vetoed the Republican Party's bill attempting to force him to approve the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline. Members of 350.org showed up outside the White House to celebrate this veto and demand that Obama take the next step and refuse to approve the pipeline itself.

On the 6th of February, activists from DC Stampede showed up a the Virginia offices of Skanska. Skanska calls themselves a "world leading project development and construction group." Skanska has a contract to build a new, $123 million "Animal Research and Care Facility," meaning a vivisection lab at University of Washington.

On the 7th of February, DC area animal rights activists managed to storm Neiman-Marcus, a notorious fur selling upscale department store. The march made one pass through the store and then back out the door before police could respond.

The Montgomery County Park Police are shooting deer in Rock Creek park and elsewhere in MD, once again claiming there are "too many" of them in an area dominated by human overpopulation. On the 6th of February area residents outraged by these "culls" showed up at the intersection of Beach Drive and MD rt 410 with banners denouncing the killing.

Dominion has hired ten Calvert County sheriff's deputies and two armed patrol boats to protect their plans to export fracked gas at Cove Point. The patrol boats were shown to the media during a string of peaceful protests at Dominion's construction sites. Word at one of the protests was that the ten deputies draw their paychecks from Dominion, not from the Calvert County taxpayers. This implies they also take their orders from Dominion.

While the NPS has finished killing deer in Rock Creek Park for the seasion, the Maryland National Capitol Park Police have started shooting deer themselves on the MD side of the state line. On Jan 28, activists tracked the man putting out corn bait to one exact site where deer are being shot.Entry is by the second area where it is possible to park on Jones Mill Road south of Beach Drive, the one shortly before the playground. From the trail on the far side of the bridge, after passing a ravine on the right, a tree with a flag on it can be observed back towards the road.

On the 26th of January, mainstream media outlets reported that a hobbyist drone crashed somewhere on the White House grounds and was "self reported" by the hobbyist. The White House, of course is where all the orders come from for much larger CIA drones to bomb and kill people all over the world, yet they are whining about this tiny, unarmed hobbyist drone.

The 21st of January, 2015 marked the 5th anniversary of the Supreme Court's notorious Citizens United case, which legalized unlimited corporate campaign cash in US poltiics. Protesters showed up in multiple locations.

On the 20th of January, Untold Carslyle published this photo of an undercover cop that has been seen around most or all of the DC Ferguson protests. Looks like we've just caught another "Missy," the undercover cop who was caught by DC activists in 2013 because she had a big mouth on Twitter.

On the 17th of January, during the MLK holiday weekend, cops in DC held what was effectively a counterprotest against DC Ferguson and the rest of the new civil rights movement. Their "sea of blue" march featured some participants looking like motorcycle gang members, and speakers advocating an "us vs them" approach to policing.

The 15th of January is Martin Luther King's actual birthday. On that day in 2015, DC Ferguson marched into AM rush hour traffic and shut it down for many blocks in all directions of the protest. Police redirection of traffic greatly magnified the impact by closing off large sections of streets containing protesters, far beyond the protest itself. Police, security guards, and vigiliantes are still shooting another African-American every 28 hours. DC police are still using jump-outs to intimidate Black youth into submitting to illegal searches.

The 13th of January was a day of action against the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline throughout Turtle Island. In Washington DC, Climate First! showed up at the US Department of State late afternoon, after an earlier protest at the White House by 350.org.

At 6:30PM on the 8th of January, WTOP News reported that the Olympic Selection Committee in Denver has chosen Boston, not Washington DC, for the 2024 Olympic bid for the United States. DC is now spared from incoming Mayor Muriel Bowser's proposal to spend $5 Billion on the "Eviction Games," and from the wave of displacement, gentrification, and police brutality they would bring. On the other hand, Boston residents now have a problem and need to prepare for a fight to reject the Games.

On the 7th of January as of 10:30AM, online complaints appeared that the Wal-Mart on Ga Ave had neither shovelled nor salted the sidewalks in front of their store. There was an online complaint from someone who saw an elderly woman nearly slip and fall on the ice. While Wal-Mart gets a pass on this, ordinary DC residents can face fines fines for not clearing sidewalks.

On Wednesday, the 7th of January, the Senate will hold a hearing on the GOP's bill to push through the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline. The bill is expected to pass and be on Obama's desk by Friday, Jan 9. On Jan 3, Native Americans and their allies protested in front of the White House demanding that Obama veto this bill.

The Unification Church(Rev Moon)-controlled Washington Times is claiming that DC Police have spent $3M because of the DC Ferguson protests. I can say from personal experience that this consists of following DC Ferguson protests through the streets and redirecting traffic to isolate protests. Perhaps police chief Cathy Lanier should think of this as a $3M fine against the DC Police for violating the rights of African-American city residents with jump-out tactics and illegal searches stemming from them.

On the 18th of December, Twitter posts tagged with #dcferguson disappeared from Twitter searches unless "top" was selected instead of "all." Since "top" stories are old, this made it impossible to use Twitter to call protesters to assemble at a short notice time and place. Twitter themselves or right-wing/police hackers could potentially do this. For several days before this, a #dcferguson Twitter search would return large numbers of "falabeats" audio promos, and finally returned a half dozen pages of those posts at some times on Dec 18, burying almost all other posts.

On the 17th of December, hundreds of people, mostly Pakistani-Americans, gathered in Dupont Circle to remember 141 people, mostly young students, killed in the Dec 16 Taliban attack on a school in Peshawar. There was a call for solidarity with this vigil on the DC Ferguson Twitter feed and no march that would have conflicted with it.
