BLM blockades Chinatown, "National Emergency" protesters rally at White House

At Noon on the 18th of February, protesters at the White House declared that TRUMP is the "national emergency". This is over his attempt to claim dictatorial powers to remove as many Brown people from the US as possible and build his wall. At the exact same time, Black Lives Matter blockaded Chinatown, protesting MPD and Bowser for their efforts to remove as many Black people from DC as possible.

March for TPS Justice tears down mock wall at Trump Hotel, marches on Capitol Hill

On the 12th of Feb, migrants holding Temporary Protected Status backed by a massive crowd of supporters marched from the White House to Capitol Hill to demand legal permanent residency. The march stopped at Trump Hotel, where a mock wall banner emblazoned "No Borders on Stolen Land" was set up, then torn to pieces in symbolic demolition of Trump's wall.

Justice for Jakelin protest held at Customs and Border "Protection"

On the 17th of December, pro-migrant activists gathered outside the office of Customs and Border "protection" aptly located in the Ronald Reagan Building on Penn Ave. Activists were in front of CPB to protest the death of a 7 year old Mayan girl from Guatamala named Jakelin in Customs and Border "protection" custody. Flowers and bottled water were left on the building at the conclusion of the rally.

Mother of three facing deportation takes sanctuary from ICE in local church

On the 11th of December, Rosa Gutierrez refused a demand from ICE to self-deport, instead taking sanctuary in Cedar Lane Church in Bethesda, MD. Rosa has three children and has cited concern for their welfare as her reason for defying ICE's demand to leave the US. For years she put up with an ankle monitor and repeated ICE checkins, only to ICE demand that she leave anyway.

Migrants and supporters call for defunding Department of Homeland Security

On the 10th of December, migrants and their supporters held a protest at the White House demanding a clean DREAM act and renewal of Temporary Protected Status (TPS). In addition they called on Senator Chuck Schumer and others in Congress to defund or at least cut the budget for the Department of Homeland Security, of which both ICE and CBP are large components.

US police or military fires tear gas at migrants at border, direct hit wounds young girl

On the 25th of November, @CosechaMovement reported that a young girl took a direct hit from a tear gas canister fired by US law enforcement or military at migrants seeking asylum at the Tijuana border crossing. The hatred and violence of racist Donald Trump has now critically wounded a young girl because Donald Trump only wants white immigrants (he said Norway) to cross the illegitimate, settler-drawn borders of the so-called "United States."
